Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all orders placed on chronicleclock.com, operated by LegrandM LLC, doing business as Chronicle Horlogerie. We want you to love your watch. If you are not completely satisfied, we are here to help.

1. 30-Day Return Policy

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return, for any reason.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • unworn and unused, in the same condition as when you received it;
  • in its original packaging, with all accessories, boxes, protective films, tags, manuals and warranty cards included;
  • free from scratches, marks, adjustments or alterations (for example, a bracelet that has had links removed, unless all removed links are returned).

Proof of purchase (your order number) is required for all returns.

2. How to Request a Return

  1. Contact us at chroniclehorlogerie@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your order, with your name, your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
  2. We will reply within 48 business hours with your return instructions and the return address.
  3. Ship the item(s) back within 14 days of receiving our return instructions. Please pack them securely and use a tracked shipping service. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit without tracking.

Packages sent back without a prior return request, or sent to an address other than the one we provide, may not be accepted.

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of mind: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Defective, damaged or incorrect item: Return shipping is free. We will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse your return shipping costs.

There is no restocking fee.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a few additional business days for the funds to appear in your account.

The refund covers the price of the returned item(s). Original shipping costs are not refundable, except where the item is defective, damaged or incorrect, or where you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal (see Section 6).

If a returned item does not meet the conditions in Section 1 (for example, if it shows signs of wear or is missing packaging), we may refuse the return or apply a partial refund reflecting the reduced value of the item, as permitted by law. In that case, we will contact you before processing it.

5. Exchanges

If you would like a different model, color or size, please contact us. The quickest way is to return the original item according to this policy and place a new order for the item you want.

6. Right of Withdrawal (EU, EEA and UK Customers)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. Our 30-day return policy extends this period.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement sent to chroniclehorlogerie@gmail.com. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory.

If you withdraw within this 14-day period, we will refund all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery costs, within 14 days of being informed of your decision. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. The direct cost of returning the goods is your responsibility. You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

7. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when you receive it. If your item arrives damaged, is defective or is not the item you ordered, contact us at chroniclehorlogerie@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the item and the packaging. We will offer you a free replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs, at no cost to you.

8. Order Cancellations

You can cancel your order free of charge as long as it has not been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible at chroniclehorlogerie@gmail.com. Once your order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled, but you may return it under this Refund Policy.

9. Your Statutory Rights

This Refund Policy is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the consumer laws of your country of residence.

For customers in Australia: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

For customers in the EU, EEA and UK: You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for at least two years from delivery in the EU and EEA, and from your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
